Foxy Friday!

Foxy arrived at her destination, so I am now able to post about her.
She was a gift for someone, so had to be kept under wraps until she was presented to the birthday lady.
Well Foxy is my 3 chihuahua in as many weeks. The next 2 are just as fantastic : )
I've a lot I'm working on at the minute but a lot I can't divulge just yet!

Shame really, but, all good.

Tuesday Sketch - A dog called Piko

There are many things I should be doing.
Which I am, but I couldn't resist taking a break and sketching this fella.
His name is Piko. He has the best face I think I've seen on a dog in a while.

I've been commissioned to illustrate him and his sister, who is equally as good.

So back to it for me.

Pug in Pilotto - LFW

Been trying to catch up with London Fashion Week.
One designer who's colour palette caught my eye was that of Peter Pilotto.
This look in particular.
As a continuation from my Pug In Pucci illustration I thought I'd do one in Pilotto!

Loving the unexpected!

Hello!
Hope this week is a good one for you so far.

All go this way with the start of the new uni term. (teaching head back on ; )

I loved being a student, getting to be creative and explore, exciting times.
But saying that, I love getting to be creative and explore in my own work.
This week I have talked with a passionate and eccentric lady who has wonderful projects on the go.
And I may be able to be a part of it in some way, which is fabulous.
In talks with a few other people, and about to start some card designs for a wonderful company in NY!
Sometines it's easy to forget how many good things are in your life.
I feel I've got plenty at the mo : ) x

Friday already!
Where did the week go?
Only been back from my trip to France a week and already booking the next.
This time Amsterdam! Can't wait : )

While working today I looked over and noticed a green grumpy corner to my flat/studio!

The reason why!

Hello, hope you're week is a good one.

Last night and tonight I drew some canines, with grumpy faces.
It made me think about the reason why I started drawing dogs in the first place.
It was for their characters. Imagining what they are thinking, or what their jobs would be if they were humans.
Drawing and embroidering canines and felines has meant I have met some wonderful people, been involved in some lovely things, and never fails to keep my entertained : )
I feel very happy to have stumbled across this minor obsession of mine.
It has seen me well : D x

Hello!
How's things? Hope all's good with you.
I've just got back from a fabulous holiday in France. St Jeannet to be precise and a few days in Nice.
All totally fabulous.
Saw some wonderful things, and experienced the simple life for a week, which was glorious.

I'm back now and ready for the new things that are on the cards.
All exciting and different.
I am taking on commissions too, so if you have a certain someone who would love a portrait then get in touch.
